ELIXIER 1L – De Reiger New Generation

The Elixier New Generation formula by De Reiger is built on several key pillars. First and foremost, it contains substances that directly influence racing performance—both by delivering immediate energy and by including compounds that reduce muscle acidification.

As a direct energy source, Elixier combines glucose, maltodextrin, and glycerol—an ideal mix of fast- and slow-acting sugars.
To slow muscle acidification, it contains a unique blend of beta-alanine, carnitine, and histidine.
Beta-alanine and histidine are key building blocks of carnosine, which counteracts muscle acidification. Since carnosine reserves in muscles are limited, supplementation is essential.
L-carnitine plays an important role in fat burning, contributing to energy production.
Additionally, magnesium citrate is included to further reduce acidification.

Elixier also supports performance indirectly by promoting intestinal health and liver function.
Prebiotic fiber and oregano support gut health by feeding beneficial bacteria and suppressing harmful ones.
For liver support, sorbitol is combined with milk thistle extract.

It also contains a broad range of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in highly bioavailable forms.
Iron and zinc are chelated with glycine—this small amino acid enhances absorption by making them more recognizable to the pigeon’s body.

Recommended use:

• Winter, breeding, and molting periods: 3 × 22.5 ml per 3 L of water or 3 × 15 ml per 3 kg of feed per week

• Racing season: 1–2 × 22.5 ml per 1.5 L of water or 1–2 × 15 ml per 1.5 kg of feed per week

• During low performance periods: 3–5 × 15 ml per 1 L of water or 3–5 × 15 ml per 1 kg of feed per week
