AKTIVES EISEN - 500ML
Description
DR. BROCKAMP AKTIVES EISEN 500ml
Legal doping... or more than a secret weapon!
increases oxygen concentration in the blood
Iron is an important component of the blood pigment – hemoglobin – and enables red blood cells to carry oxygen.
Hemoglobin binds the inhaled oxygen and transports it to the body’s cells.
1000 ml of Aktives Eisen contains 22,000 mg of a specific organically bound iron chelate complex.
This special form of iron is much better absorbed by the pigeon’s body compared to other iron supplements.
Especially during phases of increased physical strain, such as flight periods, breeding, and molting, the need for iron increases significantly.
Iron deficiency is therefore one of the most common deficiencies in our racing pigeons. A direct consequence is a lack of hemoglobin,
which leads to oxygen deficiency throughout the body.
The racing pigeon derives the energy needed for flight mainly from fat metabolism.
The production of energy from fat metabolism requires much more oxygen than, for example, carbohydrate metabolism used by humans.
A sufficiently high hemoglobin concentration in the blood is therefore a decisive factor for endurance.
Active iron supports blood formation, increases the number of red blood cells,
raises oxygen concentration in the blood, and accelerates oxygen transport to the cells (mitochondria).
After just a few days of use, the iron value in the blood (hematocrit) increases significantly,
leading to a natural increase in endurance during competitions.
Stomach and intestinal diseases hinder iron absorption.
Possible causes include too low acid content in gastric juices or changes
in the mucous membrane of the upper small intestine, as well as the development of harmful bacteria. This is why particular attention should be paid
to maintaining the natural intestinal flora in racing pigeons.
Recommended dosage:
After starting training, about 3–4 weeks before the beginning of the racing season, active iron should be administered
2 times a week with drinking water or food to replenish iron reserves.
Also during the breeding and molting phases, it should be given at least once a week:
5 ml of Aktives Eisen per 2 liters of water or 1 kg of food daily for 25 pigeons.
Content volume: 500ml
